Another Door Opens
Ellipsis was recently asked to participate in "Another Door Opens," an amazing fundraising event/spectacle benefiting Chicago House. in collaboration with the multi-talented painter/entrepreneur, Shannon Favia, the team designed and donated HIPBOX01©, the first in a series of iterations of small, occupiable objects made to instigate self-reflection and happiness.
The HIPBOX01© is a fun, interactive art piece that helps spark a healthy conversation among communities. The project is the derivative of Shannon Favia's "Happy Inside Project," a series of 2D work focused on helping people discover their inner beauty and happiness. According to Favia, "Ellipsis helped the Happy Inside Project see past the 2D canvas paintings & made The Happy Inside Project (The HIP) 3D. Through a series of hilarious phone conversations & text messages, the HIPBOX01 was born.
Chicago House and Social Service agency serves individuals and families who are disenfranchised by HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ marginalization, poverty, homelessness, and/or gender nonconformity by providing housing, employment services, medical linkage and retention services, HIV prevention services, legal services and other supportive programs.
