Welcome Seychelle!

Ellipsis Architecture is excited to welcome the multi-talented Seychelle Reed to our team.

Seychelle joined the Ellipsis team in the continued pursuit of her passion for thoughtful design and execution. Amidst the wide variety of work in which she engages daily, she is especially intrigued by the interrelationship between art, architecture, and the human spirit.

While pursuing her masters degree and throughout her graduate career, Seychelle secured a comprehensive array of professional experience, working on a multitude of projects, both domestic and international, as a team member at Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. She graduated with her Masters in Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects in 2017.

Seychelle is a Chicago native and a student of life. She earned a double major from Lake Forest College in Studio Art and Communications but not before pursuing multi-disciplinary coursework at the Rhode Island School of Design, The New School in New York and Paris, and Polimoda in Florence, Italy. After her work in Italy, she returned to Chicago and worked as a project manager at San Juan Ventures, a sourcing and manufacturing company specializing in custom FF&E products and architectural features.
