Construction Tour for SAIC Students

On Tuesday, October 13, Paul Tebben of Ellipsis and Mike Newman of SHED Studio hosted a group of students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for a tour of a single-family construction site on Chicago's north side. The building tour was a behind-the-scenes look at the complexities of designing and coordinating the construction of a residential building.  The students were given a sneak peak at the inner workings of the building, designed by Cassagrande Architects and built by Braun Renovation Management. 

We were very grateful to the Owner/General Contractor Josh Braun for his hospitality in hosting us for our annual visit to the building.
